Synopsis :
Adam, a morgue worker at a hospital to question his identity as a result of past human father. He became an introvert in the neighborhood, but it turned into a very different person when he was at work. The existing bodies every day has always been a wonderful friend. His life became more complicated when the house relics of the old people who occupy threatened eviction because there is no identity.
In daily life, Adam is often saw a woman who caught his eye around the hospital. A young woman “without a name” oriental-looking 20-year-old, who struggled to pay for medical treatment that her father is being treated in hospital wards poor. His quarters were already condemned and the woman forced into prostitution in order to find the cost for treatment of his father.
Arising admiration and sincere love from Adam to help and protect women without a name. Adam wholeheartedly trying to save her from prostitution by way of ensuring that women get Askeskin. But not easy. And all be hit hard because of identity issues.

Experience of watching the movie itself was pretty painful . Seeing corpses and blood every second was really awful experience plus the cinematography and the lighting made it even more painful and heavy .
But , beside those painful stuffs in the movie , Identitas was so powerful and qualified . It was an awesome movie and it’s also ironic . It was an eyes-opener , since it told us story of Jakarta’s area with low-income people who live in it and about the Goverment’s policy of taking-the-ownership of their land and in order to keep your land in their hands , they need to have the identities as the landlords and to have that identities , they have to pay some money which is pretty pricy for them .
Actually , it wasn’t the focus of the movie . The focus of the movie itself it’s the poor-girl’s story , that identity-less girl couldn’t have what she should have from the Government(read: Askeskin) . It focuses on point “People can’t have Government’s service when they don’t have the identity , in fact , to get that “identity” they need money and power while not everyone has that money and power” and even in emergency situation , identity is still as important as going to heaven .
What suprised me was Leony’s performance . Can you imagine the child-star you usually see on tv is now growing up as an qualified serious actress while some other child-stars end up in soap-operas ? Leony was surely a show-stopper .Acting as a character who was dealing with poverty, race and justice issues wasn’t that simple , it took great acting-skill to make the character looked realistic and lively . But , Leony made it . She’s great . She could also make great chemistry with Tio Pakusadewo , who has great acting skill .
Overall , behind the pain of the movie itself .Identitas is a great movie , it is a really great movie and watching the movie was a pleasure for me ,seeing Indonesian Movie Industry keeps getting better all-the-time is a happy truth .
Identitas is ironically funny eventhough it’s painful , it is so simple , emotional but so deep and very Indonesia .
It tells you story about three souls finding solace in religion and they are Rohana , Rohani and Brian . Those three souls with different backgrounds meet each other in their path to make their life better . FYI , it’s based on true story of Yasmin Ahmad and Okhtar Ahmad .

A simple family movie with touch of religious stuffs and kindness
Muallaf was a not-so-heavy movie but it’s not that kind of easy movie . It was caught in the middle , not-so-heavy but not-so-light .
This movie didn’t really focus on “the convert” itself , it focused on forgiveness , kindness and somehow the director connected them all to the religious and cultural stuffs which make this movie had some ”weight” , eventhough the “weight” itself wasn’t that 5 stars weight but the “weight” was emotional and really into some various cultures .
But , this movie didn’t forget to put humour in it . Ironical and simple .
The acting of the actors were great , actors and actresses of this movie pictured their character in proper and nice ways .
But ,there’s still something missing from this movie . It’s score wasn’t deep enough and it could be its cinematography . I see no really “WOW” factor in the movie . Maybe because it’s just too simple with super-realistic views . But , there’s still some-kind of a bit’ ridicolous scenes and it’s also unbelievable .
But , Yasmin Ahmad really could potray “the convert” nicely without harming any other religion .
FYI , I’m a Christian and i feel no offensive point upon any religion .

Animation meets real people is pretty fresh concept . But , changing G-Dragon to an animated character is total mistake and the animation itself is pretty stiff plus GD’s not-so-good acting skill which made this MV pretty failed , sporting in fantasy colours , etc. he doesn’t make it as catchy as Heartbreaker and the video itself doesn’t WOW me at all . BORING , very boring , indeed .
Thank God , the song is beautiful and heartwarming enough .
MBLAQ : original , maybe sometimes looks like 2PM . But , in fact MBLAQ is very Rain . Well , it doesn’t matter since Rain is the one who owns the agency where MBLAQ were released . Well , lots of studs , black items mixed with neon colours . Black , lebay(aka too much) and lots of assymetrical cuts , and sometimes also reminds us of the “metrosexual” DBSK and costume-lover SS501 .
